Cooke, MD is a Professor of Radiology and Vice Chair of Education currently at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, previously serving as Vanderbilt University Medical Center Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director and Co-Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.

Her interests are diverse, with a clinical practice which has included abdominal imaging, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal imaging.  Her academic interests have centered around the integration of the arts and humanities into radiology and medical education, stemming from her background as a painter with a BA in Studio Art from Wake Forest University where she graduated valedictorian prior to entering medical school at Baylor College of Medicine.
